From July 21, 1998 - October 5, 2019, the Strat-hockey mailing list was hosted on Yahoogroups.
For those interested in accessing the message archives during that time period, here are the steps necessary to do so:
- Step 1: Download these two items - MBOX Viewer and List Message Archive
- Step 2: Extract the MBOX Viewer files to a folder on your computer.
- Step 3: Extract the List Message Archive file to that same folder.
- Step 4: Within that folder, run the file mboxview.exe.
- Step 5: Click on File --> Select Folder in the top menu line.
- Step 6: Select the folder you placed the List Message Archive file within and hit OK.
- Step 7: In the left-hand pane, there should now be a listing displayed called 'strat-hockeymessages.txt'.
- Step 8: In the right-hand pane, each message is formatted for viewing.
